Bev Mercer our Bevlan MD enjoys skiing and says she can ski down almost anything but not necessarily with the best style in the world, she is also a keen golfer and plays off 16 handicap, when she has time to get out of the office and onto the golf course!
Bev started the company with her father Alan 31 years ago which is where the name Bevlan came from, her father retired about 10 years ago and Bev now runs the company with the help of her amazing staff… her words not mine! 🙂
Wendy West

Our FD Wendy has been with Bevlan for 25 years. She is in charge of the accounts side of the company and also gets involved with quotes for customers too.
Wendy enjoys her girly nights in and out, dining out with partner Martin and spending time with her son, Jamie. She also enjoys visiting family and her yearly two week sunny holiday in July!
Alicia Dearden
sale development manager
Alicia has been with Bevlan since June 2004. She joined the company as a part time office administrator and has since grown to join our sales team, initially cutting her teeth with our pre loved department and looking after customers in our main office furniture showroom.
Outside of work she has an interest in history, enjoys spending quality time with her family and has a long standing passion for motorsports, be it two wheels or four.
Martin Mcbeath
office manager
Martin has been with Bevlan for nearly 20 years now! He has many roles in the office including producing quotes, ordering furniture and he is basically the oracle in the office, anything you need to know, Martin knows!
He is a huge Burnley football club fan and spends his time going to their matches, home and away. He also enjoys playing golf and dining out with partner Wendy.
Leo Archer
warehouse manager
Leo started at Bevlan in November 2004, creeping up to 12 years now. Leo deals with the delivery and installation side of Bevlan. He looks after the warehouse and makes appointments for the furniture to be delivered and installed.
In Leo’s time out of work he enjoys going for bike rides. He also has a caravan where he spends weekend breaks with his family especially his children.
Phil Rushton
delivery/installer
Phil is another one of our delivery men. He works in the warehouse, drives the delivery van, assembles the furniture and then installs it all for our customers.
Phil is a big Burnley football club fan, he has a season ticket and likes to attend the games with his son. He is currently working part time to pursue his studies at college to be an Ambulance driver. He also enjoys spending quality time with his son and now – wife.
Paul Middleton
delivery/installer
Paul is one of our delivery men, he works full time alongside spending time with his children. His duties include warehouse work, loading and unloading the delivery van, assembling and installing furniture.
Paul has 6 children so enjoys spending quality time with them all and his wife. He also enjoys bike riding with his son, sometimes he rides to work and back.
