featuring Synergy Lighting

Today, we’ll show you 3 simple ways to make your office express your personality.

In this week’s edition of our Bevlan Blog, we’ve got something very special. This is the very first time we feature a guest here, at Bevlan Blog – Synergy Lighting.

1. Choose the right colour palette

Creative use of colours is probably the best way to express your feelings, mood and personality. Each colour has its own impact on how we feel. Artists and designers have been using colours to visually communicate with the audience for centuries! We’ve covered this topic in more detail in one of our previous articles – “What are your office interior colours conveying to your clients?”. Give it a read to find out more about the colours and how can you successfully use their power in your office.

2. Matching the materials

One of the most exciting parts of ordering office furniture is the configuration. This means that you decide about the features to match your taste and preferences. However, it’s important that take other things into consideration too, before making a decision. Materials, interior design, company branding, practicality and ergonomics, to name a few. That’s why our specialists will be more than happy to assist you when configuring your furniture with us!

3. Creative use of lighting.

This part is crucial, as the light is so powerful tool, it can drastically change the mood of every interior. That’s why it’s important to set-it-up correctly. We’ve asked our friends from Synergy Lighting to explain how creative use of lighting will change the overall look of your interior.

“Expressing brand personality in a workspace is often left to graphics on the walls and furnishings with lighting a lesser consideration. LED lighting offers a world of possibilities to not only help communicate your brand’s personality but to define and create different areas of an office.
Main area lighting generally needs to be bright to help focus and work, but it can be used to communicate your personality with custom finishes to match brand colours. Coloured LED can be used for uplighting with white for downlighting in direct/indirect fittings. LED linear lighting can be easily customised or installed in a creative way to express creativity and personality.

LED tape products have a very important part to play in feature lighting too and it is being increasingly used for picking out architectural features which tend to be the secondary lighting in a space. Downlights, pendants and desk lights can be used to create cosy informal spaces and lighting that can be changed depending on how spaces are used adds a great degree of flexibility.”

So these were our 3 quick tips on how to make your office interior truly your own. Again, huge thanks to Synergy Lighting for being our first-ever guest!
