The Design

When Geoffrey Miller solicitors were moving to their fabulous new offices in Media City, we were asked to source some very different furniture and fabrics as they didn’t want the usual office image.

For the  reception area they used Lucia Compact club chairs and sofas, in a velveteen kingfisher blue fabric and walnut legs, which complemented the Paleo coffee table set also in walnut. The stylish shapes of the coffee tables work well either linked together or separately, we loved the living wall arrangement which completed one of the most eye catching reception areas we have furnished.

Leading from this gorgeous seating area is the meeting rooms and boardroom, again walnut finish for the Ad-lib boardroom table, credenza and smaller meeting table. These were teamed up with Casis side chairs with walnut legs in a vibrant, yet classy velveteen fabric offering comfort for those long meetings.  Finishing the ground floor space is some great breakout and dining space; for the staff to relax in over lunch before going back to the dynamic workspace upstairs!

In the offices we used the Pure 3 way segment desks in anthracite and white legs drawers,  combined desk top screens with triple tool bars in white aluminium, with different fabric colours to differentiate teams. The ergonomic mesh back operators chairs give the support needed to sit for long hours at a PC, side opening tambour storage units give plenty of storage for all the paperwork that a busy, successful solicitors practise needs.

We can’t leave this fabulous new workplace without mentioning the stunning light feature in reception, as far as first impressions go Geoffrey Miller solicitors have certainly created the WOW factor here, they would have made great interior designers as well as solicitors!
